The six million dollar question and one I can’t answer but my guess is that he may, initially, not be particularly happy about sharing his home with another cat. However, most tend to end up tolerating the usurper especially if you make sure there is plenty of space for them to share, lots of toys, several litter trays and different places (up high and low) for them to hide and sleep on. Allow them time to adjust and give Gizmo his own space so he can escape and relax on his own.

Hi Lynn
The six million dollar question and one I can’t answer but my guess is that he may, initially, not be particularly happy about sharing his home with another cat. However, most tend to end up tolerating the usurper especially if you make sure there is plenty of space for them to share, lots of toys, several litter trays and different places (up high and low) for them to hide and sleep on.
