The best wormers are those prescribed by the vet but you can buy them cheaper on the Internet. I prefer Profender which is applied to the back of the head and saves the trial of trying to get pills down a cat - never an easy task!

I use stronghold for my 5 cats for fleas of Internet costing £46 and get 6 pippets so I always have one spare incase I rescue another stray.I use profender for worms out behind the neck ,no drama.last time I bought them was £30 and did 5 cats also of Internet

Hi Kirsten,
We do tend to find that certain products are more effective, and the advice you get when purchasing from your vets is invaluable, especially with regard to safety. I purchasing anywhere other than a vets or pharmacist please be extra careful to use the correct product for your pet- there are a lot of cases of poisoning and death in cats from using incorrect products.
