if i leave my mute, she pees on the front room carpet or on my staircarpet, i can understand this if i was leaving her for hours, but this might be just for a few minutes for example to get washing in or to check how much credit i have in my gas meter, what can i do, she cannot be with me 24/7
She sounds as if she needs some help. Peeing on the carpet when left is often a sign that she is feeling very distressed by you leaving and this can be for a number of reasons. A good qualified behaviourist can help you and I would ask your vet to refer you to one as this sort of problem behaviour needs a proper consulation which will take 2/3 hours so the behaviourist can understand fully the reasons why she does this and how she may be feeling.
Meanwhile do not get cross with her and ignore all the mess. You can begin to de-sensitise her to being left by going through an inside door saying “see you then” and then coming back in again straight away and not making a huge issue about it. Keep repeating and repeating until she no longer cares about you leaving and then you can begin to leave for 5 seconds and repeat and repeat until she no longer reacts and then you can stand outside for 10 etc. Once she can cope with you leaving her in side the house start all over again by the front door. You can leave nice things for her to chew when you leave her for longer periods.
yes, i guessed it was an emotional issue, but she doesn't have any problem with being left in another part of the house, for example when I'm on the computer, she will sit on the couch downstairs,
its only when i leave her in the house and she hears me go. she seems to know that I'm not leaving her for long, and pees almost immediately. even if she has just come in from a walk and been to toilet. i have tried leaving her toys out, but she ignores them, and chews something she shouldn't (3 boxes of my girlfriends shoes, a few DVDs, TV remote control's,electric flex from hoovers and speakers, a bag of flour, paprika, turmeric and an electric razor. obviously some of this, at the time was down to her being a puppy but they were put away from where she could easily reach them and had to climb on work surfaces to reach the shelves they were on)

Hope this helps
