Awww,bless him,look into clicker training hun,show him the collar and click treat,click,treat for a good few times,everytime he see s the collar yiou treat the hell out of him (with the clicker,the click means,yes,well done,thats what I wanted!!) so,put the collar or harness (I ve always walked my boy on a harness so not to injure his neck x ) and let him go towards it first,click and treat (read up on clicker training first though) build on it,you are the person he trusts,you have to build the trust in his harness again xxx and then even if if you are just sitting outside your door for a week for him to get comfy with it outside the house,build on it,you know your dog and will know how far you can take him with each walk xxx lots of love to you and your pup,hope he will soon enjoy walkies <3

What a shame your puppy had such a difficult time. Obviously you can exercise him using games in the house and garden. I would try a headcollar, such as, Gencon which does not need to be clipped on or a fixed slip lead which is loose around his neck. Lure him out of the house with a food reward and just get him to take a few paces and then build up from there.
